Hi,

I would like to control relay module which activates LED transformer, when light sensor give right value. The main question is how to connect digital pin from arduino mounted to ASL shield to relay control pin? As I understand, 5V and GND I can use from output pins from ASL?

Hi,

Why you need to control transformer..?

ASL is powered from the same 12v PS as the led strip.

or i just did not get your correctly…

I just do not want to leave transformer powered on all day when it is not in use. I thought it is better to turn it on by arduino when light sensor “tells” that it is already dark 🙂

Hi,

My PS is online already 2 years , no problem.

But if you decided to go in your way, then you will need to power up arduino through USB (separately)

Then to modify slightly a sketch…

tnx.
